Finally, a course that combines everything you ever wanted to know about Quickbooks with bookkeeping essentials and payroll. Anyone can enter data to an accounting package, but it’s being able to answer the question, “but does it make sense?” that gives you a sound set of books.

This four-day workshop covers Quickbooks, payroll and bookkeeping best practices, and leaves you comfortable dealing with the higher-level stuff, including but not limited to Balance Sheet accounts (prepaids, capital assets, and accumulated depreciation, payroll liabilities, HST, shareholder accounts, etc.), account reconciliations, month and year-end closing entries, and how to prepare, read and analyze a set of financials. We’ll also be teaching you the tricks of the trade – useful things you can do to save yourself time, including the Three-Minute Bank Reconciliation. Participants are encouraged to bring questions – all else is provided, including lunch and refreshments.
